At Matt Montalvo Photography we’re lucky to document some of the most beautiful weddings in the Texas Hill Country. One of our favorite venues to photograph is Canyonwood Ridge in Dripping Springs, and Bianca and Jake’s August wedding there was nothing short of stunning.
A Perfect Hill Country Setting
Canyonwood Ridge is known for its sweeping views and modern Hill Country charm, and it made the perfect backdrop for Bianca and Jake’s big day. The couple tied the knot in the venue’s gorgeous chapel, where floor-to-ceiling windows framed the rolling landscape outside. The natural light flooding in highlighted every detail—from Bianca’s radiant smile as she walked down the aisle to Jake’s emotional reaction seeing his bride for the first time.
Portraits in Golden Light
One of the best parts of Canyonwood Ridge wedding photography is taking advantage of the outdoor spaces. After the ceremony, we stepped outside with Bianca and Jake to capture portraits surrounded by the beauty of the Hill Country. The golden August sunlight created a warm, romantic glow as the couple shared candid laughs and quiet, heartfelt moments together. These portraits truly captured the essence of their love.
A Joyful Reception
The celebration continued inside Canyonwood Ridge’s elegant reception hall. With its high ceilings, sparkling chandeliers, and inviting atmosphere, the space was perfect for dinner, heartfelt toasts, and an energetic dance floor. Friends and family filled the room with joy, making the night unforgettable for everyone involved. From the couple’s first dance to the last sparkler send-off, every moment was filled with love and excitement.
